Timothy G. Woodall, M.D. received his Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina and his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he received the distinguished Presidential Clinical Science Award. Following a Transitional Residency at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC, Dr. Woodall completed his specialty training in dermatology at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia where he served as chief resident. He was board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 2001. Dr. Woodall pursued further training in laser surgery and dermatologic cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Woodall is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the South Carolina Medical Association, the South Carolina Academy of Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery, and the York County Medical Society.
Dr. Woodall served as President of the South Carolina Dermatology Association in 2010-11 and was the past-Secretary-Treasurer. He has lectured annually at the national meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology and has served as a delegate to the South Carolina Medical Association annual meeting. He currently serves as the Chairman for the Union County Healthcare Foundation. He is well published, authoring many journal articles and dermatologic textbook chapters and has served as a clinical investigator in clinical research studies. Dr. Woodall also serves on the teaching faculty for the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In addition to general and surgical dermatology, Dr. Woodall performs the latest procedures including BOTOX®, Restylane®, Juvéderm™, chemical peels, and sclerotherapy. He also offers specialized services including vascular laser surgery for the treatment of rosacea, facial veins, leg veins, scars, hemangiomas and port wine stains, in addition to laser techniques to treat sun damage, brown spots, wrinkles and hair removal.
Mrs. Kristin Berka, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant practicing the specialty of dermatology since 2002. Mrs. Berka received her undergraduate degree in General Science from Springfield College in Massachusetts. She graduated from the Springfield College Physician Assistant Program in 2001. Mrs. Berka has been caring for the dermatologic needs of the communities of Charlotte and Rock Hill for 8 years.
Mrs. Berka continues to expand her broad knowledge base through continued medical and dermatologic training. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the North Carolina Association of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Metrolina Association of Physician Assistants, the Charlotte Women's Dermatology Society, and the Charlotte Physician Assistant Dermatology Association. Mrs. Berka serves as an investigator for clinical studies to enhance her personal medical understanding as well as that of the general medical community.
Mrs. Berka offers same day appointments in all areas of general dermatology including acne, eczema, melasma, mole checks, psoriasis, rashes, seborrheic dermatitis, and skin cancer. She is also well trained in the cosmetic removal of skin tags, brown spots and moles.
Mrs. Berka has immediate appointments available for general dermatology care as well as cosmetic procedures and consultations.
Richard E. White, M.D. received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology, magna cum laude, from the University of Missouri, and received his medical degree from the University of Missouri Columbia School of Medicine. Following an internship in internal medicine, Dr. White completed specialty training in dermatology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine where he served as chief resident.
He was board certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology in 2001. Dr. White pursued further specialized training in Mohs micrographic surgery, laser surgery, and dermatologic cosmetic surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. White is a member of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, and the National Psoriasis Foundation.
Dr. White is recognized as an expert in medical and surgical dermatology. He has lectured and trained physicians nationally, including the national meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. White has conducted many clinical studies in areas such as acne, actinic keratosis, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin cancer. He has authored scientific articles, abstracts and numerous educational seminars for patients, physicians, and individuals working in the field of health care. Dr. White is dedicated to community health care.
Dr. White is currently the Vice President of the South Carolina Academy of Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery (2015-2016) and served as the President in 2013-14 and Secretary-Treasurer in 2012-2013. He is also an active member of the North Carolina Medical Society and South Carolina Medical Society , the NC Dermatology Association , as well as the York County Medical Society. Dr. White serves on the teaching faculty of Carolinas Medical Center.
