Kristin Berka, PA-C, has been caring for the dermatologic needs of Charlotte and Rock Hill patients since 2002. She believes in being thorough and informative with every patient. “If my patients and I are on the same team with a mutual understanding of the diagnosis, treatment plan, and expectations, then we will have a more successful outcome.”

A passion for communicating with patients
Kristin Berka’s mother realized her caring personality was ideally suited for a medical career before she even entered high school. A mother of three herself, Ms. Berka – and her patients – now understand exactly what her mother saw. She and her assistant, Joy, deliver comprehensive and compassionate care to each of their patients.
Ms. Berka offers appointments in all areas of general dermatology, including acne, eczema, melasma, mole checks, psoriasis, rashes, seborrheic dermatitis, and skin cancer. She is well-trained in the cosmetic removal of skin tags, brown spots and moles. Ms. Berka serves as an investigator for clinical studies and expands her broad knowledge base through continued medical and dermatologic training. She is an active member of the numerous Physician Assistants groups, the Charlotte Women’s Dermatology Society, and the Charlotte Physician Assistant Dermatology Association. The New York native relocated to Charlotte shortly after 9/11 and prefers our warmer climate, where she loves exercising, hiking, spending time with her family – and drinking coffee!
